Bathroom done

Finished the stripes in the bathroom. Love the way it turned out.

Still need to touch up the tan part near the towel holder. The old one fell off and I had to do a patch job. Just need to paint over that and it's all done.

Stripes in half bath

Home alone. What do I do? Paint the half bath of course. Just over half finished and trying to hurry before the kids get back home.

Baby shower

I'm hosting a baby shower in a couple weeks and I'm super excited about all the fun decorating ideas I have. Can't wait to show you pics but until then I'll leave you with a glimpse of the fun pink stripe paper straws that came in the mail last night. Oh, and I can't leave out the fun chevron treat bags...

White Marble and Windows.... YES!

Just came across what may be my absolute favorite kitchen ever.  I love bright and airy and who doesn't love marble and large windows...  These are images from Stay at Home-ista's fabulous white kitchen.

Be still my heart.  Did you notice there are no wall cabinets?  I love that.  I suppose you would need sweeping views of something beautiful outside to pull off all the windows with no window treatments, but I love it!

If I ever build a dream house, I will surely come back to these images for inspiration.

How do you feel about no upper wall cabinets?

Drapes are hung

Finally got the drapes hung, now I just need to get the room clean so I can take a full room picture. It was clean the other day when the boys spent the night with their grandparents but that didn't last, maybe, a day.

Nothing says fall like tri-color wax coated, creamy candies.  Seriously, they're delicious.
